a little decorating...

Hello! I've just been busy getting the house the way I want it. As most of you know, it takes some time to get a house the way you want it when you move in. The main floor of the house is pretty open but builder beige. I've always wanted a blue living room and chose Benjamin Moore, Ocean Air. So, I started painting, decorating, and arranging... Here is the mantel and you can see the new blue walls. So far, so good!

Finally! I got to scrap a little bit today! Yea! I'm working on pics from our Colorado trip we took last year... Hope you get to be creative today too!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and is having a wonderful New Year so far.

Just got back from a trip to Cali to visit family. What a nice trip and oh how I miss Cali. Right before we left on our trip, we moved, so I came home to boxes all over the place. Well, mostly in my office and other random places. The essentials were unpacked, so that was good. Hopefully, I can get the scraproom/office organized and unpacked soon to start creating again! It seems like it's been forever!

It was a busy trip with lots of travel, so it's nice to be home and relax... NOT! Time to finish unpacking and painting! Now, where did I put those elves?

moving...

Yep, we are moving again! Yea! This time to a bit bigger house. So, I'm in packing, cleaning, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. mode! I've packed up most of my scrapbook stuff and now I'm really having scrapbook cravings! Oh well. I guess I will really be creative come January when I can scrap again.

C is for Christmas

Uhm, yeah it's almost Christmas. For those, like me who don't like to stress during the most wonderful time of the year, you understand why I'm starting early this year! Okay, not as early as say, WalMart or other places, but this is starting early for me. :-)

I love 7Gypsies and this new line is just beautiful. It's the 25 days of Christmas album for you to enjoy... More pics coming soon and will be posting on eBay later.

Scrapped

...my buns off this weekend! LOL! I wish! If only I could figure out a way to exercise while I scrapbook, that would be great. But, unfortunately snacking seems to go better with scrapbooking, doesn't it?

I just scrapped some simple layouts to finish up my 2007 album. So excited to finally finish that and move on! I've scrapped layouts in more recent albums, too. I just scrap the photos I'm inspired to scrap, but don't have many "complete" albums. That is my goal though! By next year this time I want to have the older albums completed.

Most of you guessed Colorado and yes, that is true, we went to Durango, Silverton, (train ride), Dolorus, Telluride, and Mesa Verde. Beautiful!!! I took about 500 photos, so Snapfish was happy with my order, but now I have LOTS of scrappin to do!

Where, oh where?

Well, we took a little road trip... to where? Camping, exploring, hiking, biking, fishing... If you can figure out where we went, you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE box of scrapbook stuff!!! I will pick a winner next Thursday Sept. 9th. This little sweetie was born. My niece, Lexi is so fun to scrap! I love little girl stuff. Most of the items I used were from the MM Vintage Findings kit...YUMMY! Hopefully, I can scrap a bit more this weekend.

Yikes!

Has it been that long! Sorry about that, long time no talkie! I do have a couple layouts to share, but the light is no good for pics right now, so they will have to wait until tomorrow... But, I do have a couple of photos to share!
We went on a quick trip to meet our new nephew, Andrew. What a little cutie! It seems like yesterday that his sister, Lexi was born!
