So glad to have a weekend break from work. I started a cute travel album/journal that I plan on listing on Etsy soon. Here are some peekies. :-)

I also finished another Colorado layout. Yea! I took SOOO many photos I just need to a.) put lots of photos in each layout and b.) only choose the best photos. I will do it! haha!

Shower & Layouts

Happy Spring!
The weather is beautiful here and I've been outside instead of inside scrappin! But, I did manage to do a couple of layouts with my Studio Calico (and additional supplies from my stash) this week.
Also, I co-hosted a bridal shower this past weekend and was inspired to make some decorations by Pinterest! If you have not been to that sight, where have you been?! Haha! Well, you better set aside a few hours if you do go because it will suck you in! So, here are some decor pics from that night...

Two-Pager!

I seldom do 2-page layouts anymore, but I have SOOOO many photos from our trip to Colorado two years ago to still scrap, that I need to get as many as possible on my pages. It's just the way it is! As much as I LOVE 1 photo, 1 page layouts, it's just not practical for the whole album to be that way. So...

Little Scrappin

Just been scrappin' a little bit lately. I subscribe to Studio Calico and that is my main way of getting scrap supplies as of late. It's great to have a kit to grab and go when you go to friends' homes to scrap and I don't feel like I have to buy every new thing that comes out. Of course, I still have my favs, but have just not been buying much anymore. It's a good thing! (Can you hear my husband singing the Hallelujah chorus?)Pictures in these layouts are from 2 Christmas' ago when we went to my folks to visit. This was a wild horse ranch near where they live. Trying to use more pics per layout on these. I love 1-photo layouts, but I took a TON of pics that trip!

What's happening?

So, I got this cuuuuute paper in the mail and was inspired to do something with the photos from my recent Miami/Key West trip. Hubby is in Miami for a month doing training, so I went down there for a visit. I sure miss that warm weather!

I used the new Crate Paper line and even used the "back" of the pretty paper for my second layout! Wahooo! I don't mind that there is stitching showing through the back side where I did my second layout. Kind of shabby/chic looking. :-)

Another layout...

I'm on a roll lately, scrapbooking! Maybe because it's cold out now (okay Monday it was 81 degrees, but today it's cold). Anyway, just thought I'd share!
The pics were taken with a camera phone that was not so good. But, when it's the only thing you have at the time, I would rather document the "bad" pictures than not document a moment at all. What do you think? Bad pics vs. only great pics in the scrapbook album?

Little Scrappin

I went to a girlfriends house for a scrap party the other day and finished some quick layouts... Oh what fun! I love getting kits, this makes it so much easier to go to scrap parties like this. Just grab a kit and a few other goodies and off I go. Here is a layout from the party:More coming soon!

Finally finished.

Here's a peek at the extra large tags that I finished for eBay. They took me a while, but I wanted each one to be a little different. They really turned out adorable and I'm tempted to keep them for myself! :-)

Already?

Christmas is in the air! Well, not really, but it seems like it's in all the stores already. So, I was inspired to start another set of 25 days of Christmas tags. Here's a peek:
These are the large (3"x6") tags. You could add them to your Christmas scrapbook pages, put them together with a binder ring and have an album (you could put pics on the backs of them), or even use them as adorable gift tags! Never mind that it will be 80 degrees here today. :-)

Okay, all you fellow bird lovers out there... I saw this little cutie while watering this morning. He was probably only as big as a large bumble bee. Good thing he hung around for me to do the 5 second dash upstairs to get my camera!

Inspiration

I've been in a little, tiny scrapbook rut. I guess it happens to everyone. The business of life, etc. But, recently I took an "old" scrapbook magazine with me to the pool. It was from 2008. I got inspired and thought I'd share this idea with you... Inside the pages, I found layouts with supplies that I still have lots of and love! Yeaaa! So, I was inspired to use my Making Memories, Passport line to create this layout.
Remember this line!? Tooooo cute! So, your challenge, should you accept it, dig out those old magazines and be inspired to use that stash! Don't go see Cowboys vs. Aliens, scrap instead. :-)
