tag, your it!

I've been tagged by Krista at her blog, Scrapsinbloom!

Seven Random Things About Me

Here’s how it works:
Link to the person that tagged you and leave a comment on their blog, so that their readers can visit yours.
Post the rules on your blog.
Share 7 strange/weird facts about yourself on your blog.
Tag 7 random people at the bottom of your post, linking to their blog.
Let each person know by leaving a comment on their blog.

My Seven:
1. I was raised without electricity… No I’m not Amish, but my parents enjoyed living out in the sticks! When I was in Jr. high, we got a generator though.
2. I was born and raised in California and always feel most at home there.
3. I love the Amazing Race! That’s about the only reality show I like…Really! Other shows I enjoy are almost all the CSI’s and Grey’s Anatomy.
4. I enjoy organizing and re-organizing almost as much as finally being organized.
5. I’ve been to many foreign countries including, Germany, France, Ireland, England, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Greece, Canary Islands, and Mexico.
6. I’m one of those weird people who can touch my tongue to my nose. (I know, why would you want to!?) LOL!
7. My name, Glynda is a combination of my mom’s name, Linda, and my dad’s name, Glen.

I've decided not to officially "tag" anyone, but I want whoever wants to participate to post a comment to your blog on this post and I'll put a link to it here... Common, it'll be fun! :-)

almost better.

Sorry, I've been MIA for a bit. I have been feeling a bit sick but hopefully, I'm on the road to recovery now. Here is a sneak peek of what I've been working on for eBay...
I made the album from chipboard hearts, stitched on the fabric for the pages and it's turning out too cute! Talk to you soon!

today.

Just a quick post... Just finished this layout and I'm almost finished with my 2007 album! I'm sure there are more photos that I need to have made into prints though. Have a super day! (More 365 daily journal photos to come, too.)

change.

My word for the new year. I feel that I need to change some things. Here is day 1 of my 365 journal. I am looking forward to making something, taking a photo, writing each day. Want to join me?

new.

Happy New Year!
As scrapbookers we are always looking for ways to carve out more time to do what we love. This year, I've decided to actually write and put photos in my journal I purchased over a year ago. Inspired by Ali's blog post today and her link to this blog post, I'm going to do it. I want to document a year's journey. The number 8 is the number for new beginnings... I'm anticipating in 2008; it will be a great year!
Here are some photos from our recent trip to CT to visit family. What a nice time it was.
Gingerbread house at the Bee & Thistle B&B we stayed at in Old Lyme.

In Mystic on a very pretty day.
Enjoy your day and here's to a new year, with new goals!
