doggie torture & wedding album.

No, I wouldn't torture my doggie, but if she could talk, she would probably say that I do with these antlers! Don't worry, she gets treats for posing. She really doesn't see the point in wearing these antlers, but it makes mommy laugh! Merry, merry!

Look at those crazy eyes she's giving me! LOL!

I also thought I'd share some pics from a present I made for my BIL and his wife. I kept it simple and classic so hopefully in a few years I don't look back and say, "What was I thinking!?" like I do with my wedding album.

Bye for now!

less than a week!

YIKES! Okay, I'm not going to stress! I'm so close to being finished wrapping, packaging, mailing, baking, card writing, crafting, etc... I think today is the day! So exciting to see these packages off.
So, I have this old photo of me reading something at the school Christmas program about a million years ago as my photo today...

I have no idea what I was reading, but I'm pretty sure the title was "A Christmas Doll". :-) Hope your days are Merry and Bright! Talk to you soon!

presents and video

Hi! I hope all is calm and all is bright at your house! I'm trying to stay calm and get it all done.

I made some cute snow couples for gifts last night. They are almost finished. I think I'm going to add some rub-ons to the glass on the bottom.

Snow bird for my MIL. She loves birds.

Here's a little video that may cheer you...

December... already!

Yikes! I can't believe how this year has flown by! No matter how much I have to do, though I'm determined to not be stressed and enjoy this season. :-) Are you with me!?
So, I made another December Daily for eBay tonight. Here's a peek...

December Daily

Hi there! Today, I'm working on a December Daily album for eBay this week. There are tons of cool Christmas supplies, it's tough to decide what to use on this little cutie! I decided to go with the new October Afternoon for the most part on the papers. Fun stuff!

$1.77

For gas! Wow! so exciting to see that yesterday while I was out running errands. Of course we hear every night on the news when gas prices are sky high, but when they drop this far, we hardly hear a peep!
So, here is what I've done so far in Jessica's class:
I love green and blue together! YUM! This class is pretty deep in the writing department and digging up past memories. I'm really enjoying it a lot though since journaling is a challenge for me on most of my scrapbook layouts. Anyone else enjoying doing this class?
Have a great fall day!

something for me.

Hi there! Well, a friend of mine told me about the Jessica Sprague class going on and I decided to do this for me. One of the best things... It's free! A lot of fun so far and a great way to tell your story.

And happy Veterans Day. Thank you to all the men and women who have and who are putting their lives on the line daily so that we can have our freedom.

a peek.

What have I been up to? This year, I'm making a lot of my Christmas gifts and have felt motivated to work on some, so I haven't been Ebaying as much. But, this week I made a little somthin' for you! I'll put it up a bit later, but here's a peek...

One side is Christmas themed and the other is fall themed. I love that you don't have to put away this decoration and get out another when the time comes to switch to Christmas goodies!

Oh! Another thing I will be doing either this week or next is putting a bunch of stuff that I have over on Etsy over to eBay instead. But, I will be started each item at .99 cents! My little present to you! :-) Have a great Thursday!

disappointed.

That pretty much says it all. I'm so sad that McCain didn't win, but will continue to pray for our new Commander-in-Chief.

who watches...

Top Design on Bravo? Did you see last night? If you haven't seen it yet, don't read on, I'm about to spoil it for you! I was so glad that Eddie got eliminated. I HATED that lattice he put on the wall! Not even, so-lame-it's-cool. Anyway, here are their rooms...

Preston's
(My second fav.)
Nathan (Not so impressive)

Eddie
(gimme a break with the lattice and the wicker chair!) I
do like the wallpaper though.
Ondine
(this one was my fav with Preston a close 2nd)

Okay, I better get back to scrappin'. Hope you're having a great day!

fall flowers.

What a week! The weather got cold today, so it really feels like fall lately. Been taking Libby for longer walks. Near our house we have two parks and we picked some "fall" looking flowers (aka weeds) for my vase. They are kinda pretty though.

I've also been busy with work this week, so haven't had a lot of time to scrap. But, I did make these cute, little journaling cards for Etsy. I made them with lined card stock and a cool stamp, then cut them out by hand.
Have a wonderful, fall day!

fair.

For the first time, since we've lived in Arkansas, we went to the state fair. I had fun taking pictures of all the animals, people watching, and smelling all the food! Wow! There was more food there than anything else and the temptation was tough to pass up, but I did it! Did you know, they fry about anything these days!? Here are some of my favorite pics from the fair...

Pig races. It's amazing how fast this little oinkers will go for an Oreo!

This little cutie was only a few days old... Aweeee!!!

Hope you're having a great Monday!

Noel.

I just finished these letters. I love making these wood letters, but wanted to do something a bit different this year. I used hinges so they can stand up on their own on a mantle. I also added lights! I wanted them to be elegant, so I used the new 7Gypsies flocked papers. So velvety and pretty. You can purchase these on eBay later today.

I made these little cuties for Etsy today... Just couldn't stop making them! Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

a week.

Hi there... I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted! But, here I am! I just finished a layout inspired by Jill Hornby's column in this month's CK. Love her style! It was fun to try and my layouts have started looking the same lately, so I thought I'd try this. Okay, here's my layout.

Hope you had a great week! Talk to you soon!

Tuesday.

Greetings! I have some pictures to share... The first is a stick bug. Not sure of the technical name, but he looks like a stick, but is really an insect. Cool, huh? (Okay, I have a little tomboy in me!)
Next, action shot of Libby and hubby playing in the front yard over the weekend. Beautiful weather here lately. Low humidity... Just beautiful.
And last, a sneak peek of a card. Making some things for eBay and/or Etsy for this week. Fun stuff!
Have a great Tuesday!

Normally, Saturdays are full of chores and not-so-fun stuff, but today, I'm carving out some time for scrapping. Here is what I whipped up today. Keeping it simple...

layout for me.

Hello there! Well, I worked on a layout for me yesterday. It was a lot of fun, too! I really like those new Campy papers. Totally inspiring. I also wanted to try and make a "filmstrip". It wasn't that difficult and I can have several little photos of Libby running down the bank at the river. She's so wild when she wants to be!

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

a little peek.

Here's a peek at something I made yesterday. Lots of ideas whirling around in my head and not enough time in the day! I love it when the mojo is going!

Thank you for your participation and your lovely, sweet comments! (Marti, e-mail me with your address and I'll ship it ASAP. )
Have a wonderful weekend!

photo experiment & giveaway.

Okay! As promised, here is your chance to get some free scrapbook goodies! I'm purging some of my yum, yums and want you to have it! I will draw one random name by 4 PM central time tomorrow.
So, I've been experimenting with my camera and I really don't like the looks of photos with the flash. So, the other option is to get your subject to be VeRy still. Here she is, giving me crazy eyes...
She's chillin' on the futon in the office. Since she's a princess, she likes to have her head on a pillow. Aweee! Tee hee!
Good luck on getting some goodies!

Christmas is coming.

I'm just realizing that Christmas is just around the corner and I need to get my buns in gear! I love to make homemade gifts (for the people that appreciate them) and often run out of time. So, here I am getting started early! Okay, when I say getting started, I mean thinking about where to get the supplies, etc. :-) Anyway, here is a little something I started for eBay. I didn't get it done this week because it was hard to get the Christmas mojo going! LOL! But, here's a sneak peek anyway...
Also, for my blog readers, I will be purging some scrap stuff soon and will randomly choose a winner from posts. Not yet though! Next week. I'm only in the thinking stages of getting rid of stuff! LOL! More soon!!!
