little houses

I bought these 3 houses on Etsy (Little Pink Studio) and finally finished them! Hey, it's hard to find snow in August! Well, I used some very cool Iridescent Flakes and spray adhesive for the snow. What fun! It was snowing in the scraproom! I also used these adorable millinery flowers for the roof of a couple of them and in various other places. Love those flowers! Anway, one side of these cuties is for displaying during spring/summer and the other side is wintery. I just love pink and aqua! I will put putting these up in my Etsy shop today sometime.

More funny stuff... Not scrapbook related, but good for a laugh anway!

Did you see this post on Two Peas about organizing your supplies? I love anything to do with organizing and it seems I'm always doing some kind of reorganizing in my scrap/office. Right now, my scrap/office is a mess! We got a new computer (YEA!) but there are boxes, software disks, cables, etc. scattered about in here. Also, I cleaned out my guestbedroom closet for my little brother and there is a wardrobe box full of clothes in here, too. It really makes makes the creative juices dry up to have my room looking like this.

I have added the links to some of my favorite studios to my blog. If you have any you'd like to share, I'd LOVE to see them! I'm addicted to looking at studios and getting ideas for being more organized. Here are some pictures of my studio from a while back:


My desk is just a thick piece of plywood on top of 2 unfinished nightstands. I LOVE the big drawers on these nightstands! I keep my letter stickers and letter rub-ons in the top, right drawer. The bottom drawer is where I keep my card making supplies so I can whip up a card with left over scraps from a layout or other project really quickly. I also taped some craft paper to the top of my desk so I could stamp away and not worry about the top.
It's not exactly the way I would like (but is it EVER)? So, here it is, incomplete and impefect! But, I do enjoy my space so much and am very thankful for what I do have. There's always room for improvement though. :-)

Love these little wood houses I got on Etsy. I got a set of 3 different sizes and want to do one side of the set with a sping/summer feel and the other side of these same houses in a wintery feel. Here is the front of the first (smallest) one. Cute decor you can use year-round!

Okay, the computer is simi-happy again. Things are still running a bit slow (okay a lot slow) but what do you expect when your computer is 6 years old. I think that's about 90 in computer years.

Anyway, I did finally finish a layout I started. I got some beautiful flowers by a very sweet gal, Lilli at Etsy. The tiny one on the top right of the page, I got on Etsy, too (here).

Having computer issues right now. I'm so sad because I wanted to list this clear album on eBay. Hopefully, I can get the issues worked out by tomorrow and list it then. Don't ya just love how much more simple computers make life!? Talk to you tomorrow.
